Got up early for this...

zaichikarkyHo hum, let's *attempt* to chronicle all my NY and Canadar experiences in here... It will be a HARD mission , I will SUCCEED though... Oh-kay..........
So we got to Manhattan late at night. All the 4 or so nights we were up in Manhattan, we stayed in this horribly DINGY hotel at Madison Square Gardens. It was awful and roach-infested 0_o. I swear, one morning my mom woke up to find a roach on her bed 0_o. Also, the first night there was some kind of WNBA thing going on, so the place was PACKED -_-. My dad had to stay in line for literally HOURS and I was ticked beacuse I was really tired ~_~. Oh well, we were out of there the next morning for Canadar... We had a 3-day bus tour to visit Niagra Falls and the 1000 islands. Our bus was a billingual Hebrew/English tour. And our tour guide just had this STRIKING similarity to Ben Stiller.... His name was Aviad, and he was a real nice guy ^_^. Most of the people on the bus were from Isreal, and they were real nice. I made friends with this lady from Tel Aviv named Limor. I'm generally NOT a shy person and like talking to all sorts of new people ^_^*. So we always talked about Culture and stuff... and traveling.
Also, I got my palm read by an Israelian woman there ^_^. She barely knew any English, but that was okay because Aviad translated for me, heh. Also, the strangest thing happened 0_o. She is an expert Tarot Cards reader, and she made me chose one- a text version in Hebrew. Aviad translated it for me... I don't remember *too* much from it. It said that I like to.... seek spiritual(not religious...) fulfillment, I like to give a lot to people yet get things in return too, and my future husband will be very pleased with me 0_o. SHe made me shuffle and pick another tarot card later, and omg, it was the same one 0_o. Seriously, it was pretty freaky that happened ^_^** Anyway, my mom is a palm reader too, and what the lady said about my palms was nothing too new for me. Some things that have been told to me before: I will have two important relationships in my life. One will be in a few years(when I'm very young) and the most important one will be when I'm in my late 30s/early 40s. My mom and the lady are unsure of whether the first one is marriage or not. I'll have around 2 kids... this is new: that I am into social activities and helping people out... that's all I remember, heh....
Anyway, our fist major destination was Niagra Falls. It was simply amazing 0_o. I have stuff about its history in another post, but some pretty cool things happened there in the past. So the falls are split up in two. One side is owned by the Americans, and one by the Canadians. I don't know which side is prettier ^__^. Theyilluminated the falls with rainbow colors at night too : ). Koop is getting that post card, heh. That night, we went to this mini Los Vegas strip on the Canadian side 0_o. It was really weird... I convinced my dad to let me go into the Guiness Book of World Records museum XD. That was fun, hehe. I always love that book 0_o. On the American side, outside the hard rock cafe, I saw this quote engraved in the wall which stuck with me. I wrote it down too, heh. I put it in another post, but I might as well write it down here too.... "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make"- The Beatles. I thought that was really meaningful to what I was going through.....
The next day, we went on this little boat thta gets up REAL close to the falls. It's called "Maid of the Mist". Ho hum, Amada is getting THAT post card XD. BTW, I have 11 postcards to send to friend I've collected all over Canada and NYC 0_o. Woo, I'm popular. Hehe, but that includes IRL friend and internet friends too. i've never sent internet friends souvenirs before XD, so they all get postcards while everyone else gets other presents... Nye nye ^_-. Anyway... it was neat being in that boat. I wanted to go down there WITHOUT that poncho and get really wet, but my mom wouldn't let me -___-. I wasn't wet enough, I tell ya >:O. FOr the rest of the day, we travelled to our next destination- lake Ontario. I found out later that I stayed in TUFFIE'S hometown while she was away. This pissed me off a LOT. *criii*. It's not fair ;_;. This is the second time I've missed my chance to see online friends ~_~. Last time, it was Lynz in England. Gaah. I'm annoyed. I feel like I'll never get to meet anyone ;_;. I tend to get off-track, don't I? 0_o. So we toured the 1000s ilsands... they were real pretty. Half on Lake Ontario is controlled by Canadians too, so half the islands were too. I have more about them on my history section I will post up later... So that was all of Canada, for the rest of the trip, we were alone in Manhattan... more of that later...
