Happy birthday to meeee!

Today is my birthday. Wheeee! For another hour anyway. I didn't do a damn thing today other than play Monster Hunter. Yesterday my mom cooked a yummy birthday lunch, so I guess I "celebrated" in that way.

So I got birthday wishes from about 40 of my friends on facebook, which was nice. Pretty much EVERYONE remembered EXCEPT my lousy boyfriend. WTF. I'm pretty pissed. It's so amusing that people I literally NEVER talk to on facebook wish me happy birthday and my boyfriend doesn't. Jerkface... :|.

In other news: I'm signing up to go to Israel in December and I have an interview for a Digital Archivist position in Indiana. I'm very happy. Interviews make me happy : D. It means hope still lives! I shall use this encouragement to be more proactive in applying for positions. Wish me luck! If I do well I get to visit Indiana for an in person interview.

Haha no, he's already made sure I know that he's not forgotten and he's planned something fun for us to do since he is just so sweet like that. Last year, he was in Chicago for my birthday (where we were originally going to hang out before I moved here, weird how that worked out and all), so it will be nice to have him for my birthday this year!
