I've gotten worse and worse with updating this thing! I thought that I talked about what I did in Florida the last time I updated, but I guess not. Every time I think about updating, and I think about it a lot, it just seems to be a long, drawn out process, so I go and distract myself with the internet or... something. Like just right now I was randomly thinking about my friend Koop XD.

Before I go over boring details of my life, has everyone seen this viral video:

http://trololololololololololo.com/

I love it and can't stop listening to it. It always makes me smile :D. It's so cute and dorky. BEST RUSSIAN SONG EVERZ! My parents actually know about the singer. He was famous in their day, I guess :p. The story is that they originally had lyrics for the song that were equally as dorky, but they wouldn't have flown through the censors, so they just decided to have Khil do the vocal version.

What I did in Florida back in January was sleep. A lot. From 6am to 6pm most days, which left little time to do anything. Justin was annoyed because this was the first time I was there and he didn't have work to get in the way of doing activities with me, but waking up at 6 kind of ruled out most activities!

It was really cold there when I went, which was unusual for Florida, and it made me quite annoyed because it's one of my favorite things, going there in the winter and getting away from cold weather for a while. It was just as cold as home the first couple days I was there D:. I was also freezing at night and we bought 2 extra blankets.

The only thing we really did was go to the beach several times oh and one day we made it back to butterfly world. We also made it to this really delicious ice cream restaurant that I've never been to. Really great place! I even got a shirt from it. One of their specials for multiple people is this kitchen sink dish where the ice cream is brought out in this apparatus which looks like a kitchen sink XD.

I left a bunch of my clothes there, so for Valentine's Day Justin shipped them back and included some chocolates and a card! It's the only time he's ever sent anything for Valentine's day because usually his present is extending my paid lj time and giving me an lj virtual gift. He did that this year too, and included a poem "Roses are red, violets are blue, I love you very much, something that rhymes with blue. "

I've been having a fun time interning at NASA Ames this semester, and it was really amusing to find out that Wei-Chen is interning in the same place, but we have yet to meet there. My original project, digitizing parts of the pioneer venus collection has ended, so I'm gunna be doing a few more small projects before I go. I'm going to be giving this presentation on my work, and my dad might attend it. I'm also pretty much done with the Sheriff's Collection at the county archives which I've been working on for the last 10 months. It's taken a really long time, and I also have to go back there and work on an exhibit for it. It's given be a lot of experience in the archival field, probably more so than any other project I've worked on. I'll post the updated finding aid when it makes it to the Online Archive of California. There is so much stuff in it XD.

I haven't done much hanging out with friends lately, but that's nothing new. Jeferry came over one day. It was really amusing. He wanted to go to sushi but not to the sushi-boat place we went to last time because it's too expensive for him. So he looked up a sushi place that was down the road and said he wanted to go there, even though they didn't have prices. The first thing that should have tipped us off is that it had valet parking. We sad down, and the first thing I saw on the menu was sake for 140 dollars, and the price for 2 pieces of sushi were 10 dollars. We just got up and left then XD;. I've never done that before, it was kind of embarrassing. So we ended up going to the "expensive" sushi boat place that we went to last time. I love that place!

We got home and played wii sports for a while before "Creepy Kofy Movie Night" came on, and we watched "Vampire Night Orgy", which was a disappointment because there was no orgy in the movie! Though we got the censored version, there wasn't an orgy in that one either. It was a really stupid movie, and while I thought the out of sync lip movements were due to bad editing, actually it was a Spanish dub.

I saw Adrienne recently and she invited me to this SRJC Geology Club meeting where they made these rock necklace things out of wire and rocks. Here is my "Masterpiece" lol.

One of the ladies there said that those spirals look really phallic. I'm not quite sure where she got that one from.

I've started playing wii games again. I finally beat Twilight Princess. What an excellent game! But drrrr, it's Zelda! Wind Waker is still my favorite, and TP felt like a real throwback to Ocarina of Time. I only thought it was lacking in the music-department. Not a real stand-out original score like Wind Waker. There are so many Zelda games I need to beat. I don't know where to start! I usually like to finish my games, but with the Zelda series, that seems to rarely happen. I got really far into A Link to the Past on my SNES, but I bet my file is deleted from there since the batteries in the cartridges go out over time. Every time Jeferry asks what I've been playing he's all "Did you beat A Link to the Past yet?" And I say "No..." then he bitches at me to finish it. I would just need to start from the beginning. I didn't beat Ocarina of time either! I didn't have much faith in the game when I couldn't find out what to do in the middle of the Forest Temple. I really don't like looking things up when I play games, and I always have to for Zelda D:. There is really so much running around a dungeon I can do before it makes me want to strangle Midna, or Navi, or Ciela, or whoever Link is running around with. I found Midna especially irritating at times. I was also looking forward to starting Spirit Tracks, but the game won't work properly on my card -_-. I ended up buying Spirit Hourglass before I got the card, so I guess either I'll have to find a way to update the card, or buy the game. It sucks because I have very little money these days.

A while ago, gamestop was having a big game cube sale, and Justin got me all these gamecube games for pretty cheap. The cheapest one was "Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg", a sega game made by the Sonic Team, for something like 4 dollars with the 20 percent off discount. It's a pretty fun platformer, but it's kind of hard to play it after Twilight Princess. Also it's surprisingly challenging and there are a lot of ways to instantly kill yourself. I don't think I've ever got as many game overs as I have in Billy Hatcher.

I'm in Hawaii right now, visiting my friend Jenn, who's in the army. She paid to bring me, and her whole family here to visit her. Haven't done much yet... I'll talk about that whenever I update this next time.

Edit:

We also went to see Jai Alai. It was pretty fun, other than the annoying drunk ppl who kept yelling out "YOU SUCK!!" to the players they were betting on and losing.

Also Justin is surprised that I didn't talk about our sex life in this post so all I have to say about that is that I wanted to have sex with him at the park, but he refused to cuz there were children around. He said he might have done it at the beach, but instead we went to the Ice Cream store.

Seriously. There was a mother and child like what, 15 yards away? We love busting people left and right for exposing oneself to minors down here. Not to mention the entire pick-up basketball crew on the other side...

At least the beach is abandoned almost 90% of the time.
