I'm sad no one cares to comment in my last wonderful entry. FINE. I hate all of you too.
Last weekend I went to anime club to visit. They're watching all this anime in English. Ugh. It just gets worse and worse every year. I liked a couple of the anime they showed though... I also invited Shige to anime club and we worked on his Russian take home exam. It's cool that we're friends because he's studying the language I'm pretty proficient in, and I'm studying the language he's fluent in :p. So we can help each other. But he is not confident in my l33t Russian skills. He always asks me "ARE U SURE???". And then I tell him I can't be wrong because I'm a native speaker which HE IS NOT.
I have been torrenting the first season of project runway. I am very SAD that my favorite show won't be on again till July. At least American Idol should come on again in January. Then at least I will have something to be excited about. Season 1 is pretty fun, but I think the second season was the best one.Every season there is a character that everyone completely hates. Season 1 was the infamous WENDY PEPPER. I mean, you can totally see why everyone hates her, right?
I think she was alright, though. It's so stupid. This one guy blamed her for stabbing him in the back when he was voted out as group leader because even though everyone complained about him, she was the only one to voice her complaints with the judges. Then he proceeded to do something incredibly immature and draw faces all over her daughter's picture! She completely flipped out. Man. I <3 PR :p. She was actually one of my favorite designers. She made this dress that could be bought at Banana Republic that was just amazing. Besides that an a few other outfits, she was in the bottom 3 a LOT. I still always rooted for her. I hate it when reality shows completely villianize people. I never buy it.
Anyway, so my midterms are over. Last night I spent 3 hours reading and 45 mins writing my midterm. it's not that great. I wish I had more time on it. I got a 89 on my other midterm. So it should be easy until my next two major papers are due towards the end of November... gaah.
Last weekend I invited Shige and hiro over to San Jose. We went to a cool Japanese garden and took some fun pics. I also convinced them to watch "Marie Antoinette". The thing about Sophia Copella's movies is that they have an incredibly SLOW PACE. She likes to spend a lot of time focusing the camera on mundane aspects of the set and I am impatient watching her movies. I did like this one a bit better than "Lost in Translation", though.
No, I'm not doing anything for Halloween. I'll just be sitting home, watching some more PR and watching Everwood. I think I need some more cake.
