omg someone actually tagged me for filling this out. Instructions said List your current six favorite songs, then pick six for other people that have to do the same.

I'm not following them because I'm not a big fan of music and haven't downloaded much at all in ages. So I'll just list a few of my favorites by my favorite genres.

Yeah, some people know my tastes in music are extremely LIMITED. Basically it involves Anime music(not to be confused with J-pop or ESPECIALLY J-Rock), 80s music(yeah yeah, shaddup XD), VG music, some classic rock, and a few other random stuff... Yeah, I pretty much don't like anything else. Don't like country much at all, hate rap and hiphop, don't like most modern pop, and then those other genres that I forgot the names of, don't like them either XD. So here is stuff by genre-

Folk Songs - I'm a HUGE fan of folk songs. Be it American, Japanese, Russian, etc. If it's popular and old in the country, I will most likely like it a lot.

Waltzing Matilda- EVERYONE should know about this famous Australian folksong : ). A long time ago Koop mentioned it to me and I wasn't interested. Then I read an article in National Geographic about the song's creator who was this political bushman(if that makes any sense XD) and learned more about the song here- http://www.nla.gov.au/epubs/waltzingmatilda/ . They were thinking about changing this song to the Australian National Anthem back in the day. I learned quite about what this song was talking about because the terminology is very old and crazy and it was a story about this bushman who killed himself because of a political strike back in the late 1800s. It just romanticizes going out into the bush.

Katusha - This is my favorite Russian Folk song. My parents got me into it when I was learning the clarinet. They had a musician friend of theirs give me the notes to it and I played it for them and they were quite happy XD. It's not about anything too interesting in particular I guess... just a nice melody. It's about this girl named Katusha being angsty because her BF is serving in the war(probably WWII), it's also got a lot of nice poetic imagery.

Digimon Music - God I was REALLY into this stuff back in the day. I built up this enormous collection using Napster. It'll be hard to pick the best ones from my remaining collection, but yeah.

Butterfly - Let's just go with the most famous one, the first opening to the first season. Everyone should listen to Butterfly, it is most excellent.

Brave Heart- This song holds special significance with me because Matt and I really liked it back in the day *le sigh*, and it's just really pretty, fun to listen to, and has motivating lyrics.

80s Music - Yeah, I'm a HUUUUGE fan of 80s XD. The first time Titus found out about this was when I made TG and him compete in this test "who knows me better", so one of the questions I asked was "what is my favorite genre of music"

TG- 80s of course XD
Titus- 70s Classic rock.
Me- TG GETS BINGO!! It's 80s
Titus- WHAT. *rants about how much 80s sucks for a looooong time* And he still always does it whenever 80s is mentioned at all XD.

Anyway...

St Elmo's Fire - This song is incredibly significant to me ^_^. One day about 5 years ago, I filled out some sorta quiz on what the number 1 song on he charts was on my birthday, and St Elmo's Fire was it. It is the epitomy of an awsome 80s song. It's still one of my very favorites : ).

Final Countdown- Chelzee gave this song to me a long time ago and I really liked it. It's just another great 80s song. I was thinking of putting a U2 song here, or Styx's "Sailing Away" which are also favorites of mine, but I thought most people knew of those ones.

Anime Music-

Ok too much stuff that I like, basically I like a lot of openings and endings. I like Run! Run! Run! a lot, it's one of the One Piece endings, like a few of the naruto openings/endings, give any series and I'm almost guarenteed to really like either the opening(s)/endings or both : ). Contact me if you want my favorite ones.

Oh darn, no more bandwidth : (. Maybe I will continue this later. Taggings.

[livejournal.com profile] mqduck- I hate most of your music, but sometimes not.
[livejournal.com profile] alucard_8413- All the music that you like, I really don't at all, but maybe you will find something interesting that I like, hopefully not from They Might Not Be Giants XD. I do want that sun song though : )
[livejournal.com profile] scionis- Know nothing about your musical tastes : ).
