lala ... long day
Aug. 14th, 2002 01:05 amToday was actually... a bit exciting
I woke up at like 6:30 because I had a dream that Margs closed the OmShiva interview I worked so hard on. Was weird. So I went on till about 7 am then went back to sleep till about 12 0_o. I then watched a real good ep about the first meeting with the Vorta and Jem H'adar. Good good ep ^_^. So anyway... after that I spent hours looking for colleges that match my preferences on collegeboard and typing my science fiction. I eventually narrowed my search down to three things- Japanese, ping pong, and badminton ^_^. I think if a college that has all three of those would make me happy enough. Got some matches.
Then I decided to go on a nice bus ride downtown to turn in my clarinet to get fixed. The only instrument fixing place in SR is also the most expensive. They told me that it would cost over 100 bucks to fix my clarinet -_-. I went for it anyway. Then I went to the library to talk to the volunteer coordinator.I FINALLY got to talk to her 0___o. Wow... so she set me up with training on Thursday. I also helped some kid find books only to discover they were all out. Then he found one of the books himself... It wasn't on the computer, okay! -__-. I guess I trust them too much.
On my way home I took a different bus route and got off very close to where my friend lives. Good thing I had mom's cell phone because I called her and she gave me directions until we were like
"Hey, I see your house!"
"Hey, I see you!"
Hehe. I had a lot of fun over there. Her mom is fun to talk to. We also played some neat video games. She rulez at Pokemon puzzle league... a bit too much 0_o. I made her be at level 8 and me at 2 and she still whooped my ass. But it was fun! I will miss her next year(she graduated). Band will never be the same again. She has a lot of cool stuff in her house. I had to make a list of all the stuff I wanted... like her room, her bed, one of her cats, her car... and some of her video games ^_^.
When I went home, my dad was pretty pissed for some reason. He was mad I didn't clean up the plumbs too. Then he took over the computer room so I couldn't play on the net. After a while he let me though. Then I started talking to THPS2F about... a lot of things. For a long time. I *think* we're still talking. First we were insulting eachother with profanities... then we were talking philosophically about flaming and then about insomnia for a while... now he just vanished after I was about to do my best as a diagnosis -__-. Oh well. *is very tired* . Maybe I should go to sleep soon too...
