POOPY KITTY

zaichikarkyThis is kind of detailed and gross so if you don't want to read about my cat's poop problems, I suggest avoiding this post lol.
Omg Hissy had *another* accident this morning, but this one was far worse!! Somehow she got a poop consistency (not diarrhea but just very soft) which stuck to her butt. Since she's a long-haired cat it stuck HORRIBLY. I tried to wipe it clean with towels, but it didn't work. It hurt her and she wedged herself behind the washing machine and refused to budge. Eventually Justin and I had to give her a bath because there was no way to clean her up otherwise. She was a bad kitty when I tried to get her out, but I managed to grab and scruff her after moving the dryer. I held her while Justin cleaned her up in the bath. She was a very good kitty in the bath. She didn't fight or struggle or even hiss. She was very calm even though I'm sure she was terrified. Poor kitty. We towel-dried her as best as we could and now she's hiding under my bed. I bet she won't come out for hours lol. That's fine, though, at least she is clean now.
She also managed to smear the poop all over my room and ugh I have a lot of washing to do. I just managed to find a coworker to look after her when we'll be gone Christmas break. I really hope she doesn't have this issue while we are gone because it isn't really like I can expect her pet sitter to bathe her... It may be the treats I'm giving her. They're meant to prevent hairballs. Or maybe it's the change in diet. I don't know. I just hope it doesn't happen again because it's such a big mess. My room has finally stopped smelling like poop now that I don't have a kitty who is smeared in poop.
Well happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm making one of my dishes early- the cherry pie. I'll let you all know how it goes. I've never made cherry pie before and I'm excited. Cherry pie is my favorite! Last Thanksgiving I got horribly food-poisoned, so I hope it doesn't happen again this year! I think it may have been the green bean casserole so I'm not making that again this year.
