LJ Idol Season 9- Week 1: Intro

zaichikarkyHello everyone! I'm Liza. I've been participating in Idol since season 4 I believe. I usually make it to around week 10. I don't feel like writing a long intro this season, so I'll just stick to the basics.
I was born in Russia but immigrated to Colorado in 1990. I've lived in California most of my life. I currently live in Maryland, but am likely moving soon. I have a MLIS (Master's in Library & Information Science) but have sadly been between work for quite a while now. (EDIT: I'm in the archival field. I actually don't know a whole lot about librarianship other than the little I remember from Library School XD) I like playing lots of different kinds of board and card games and attend group meetings for this about twice a week. I like Nintendo a lot, but have yet to purchase any of the new consoles. I used to teach English in Japan. It was a fun journey. I hope to have lots of fun in this last season!
