This is in no particular order. My favorite characters tend to be whatever I'm obsessing with at the time but I've thought of 15 long-standing favorites (Well, maybe except for Haymitch, just because the series hasn't been around for too long, but I will always obsess over Haymitch)

Do you think that patterns in favorite characters provides any information about a person?

Maybe, though I'm not sure that I can find a lot of patterns in my selection. There are a lot of reasons, of course, but I don't think I can look at a list of favorite characters and determine much about a person. Maybe my list is just kind of eclectic. I don't always like the anti-hero in the series, I don't always like the villainous characters .

What do your favorite characters say about you? Why do you think you like the characters you do?

I tend to like characters that aren't the most popular in the series. Except maybe for Asuka, James, and Snape. They're absurdly popular, and I'm ok with that. I tend to like ambitious, hard-working characters who go through a lot of obstacles to get aim for their dreams. That is the most common theme I can think of. That's why I like Terry, Asuka, Sakura, Aliena, Setzer, Christina, Frog, and Kain. I love certain anti-heroes/Byronic heroes. They can be assholes as long as they're not *completely* evil. Snape, James, Kain, Heathcliff, and Haymitch count as such . I'd say King DeDeDe does too, but mostly I like him because he's my favorite Kirby character. His music has a big part as to why I like him. I don't exactly know why I like Toad and Diddy Kong so much. They've always been my favorite Nintendo characters and I adore it when they appear in games. Toad mostly has to do with Mario Kart. Diddy Kong mostly has to do with DKC 1 and 2.

In the Kirby anime, King Dedede's theme is just plain awesome.
I've always loved Setzer to pieces. Just so classy, and how can you not love a character who attacks enemies with cards?

I've never seen the kirby anime. I love it when I play his boss stage in the kirby games, though. lol Frog's theme is one of the reasons I like Frog so much. I was obsessed with his theme when I was younger, it was my favorite. The music in CT is my favorite. I think I like "To Faraway Times" best right now, though.I wish I could have also put Marle on the list. She's probably my second favorite CT character because she is always my MVP and I like tomboys a lot.

Exactly, Setzer is ridiculously cool, even though he isn't the strongest character. I've always liked characters who employ cards in some way. Sadly, I had no room for Joshua from Fire Emblem 8. I also really like Gambit.
