I've been complaining I've been lonely here, but hopefully soon that will not be the case. chaosrocket is coming to visit me at the end of June : ). She has her lover who lives here in DC and will visit me after she's done visiting him. I met Chaos (her real name :3) through live journal back in ~2004 or maybe 2005 and we've been meeting up every couple years for cons, and one time I invited her to Vegas with me and Yulia. She's always highly amusing to hang around with because she is my weirdest friend by far XD. She will literally ask questions like "Will you stop being friends with me because of my shiny shoes?" out of nowhere in public in front of other people. She's hilarious. I remember when we went up to the Space Needle and we were being told facts about it by the tour guide, she asked "So has anyone ever tried to demolish the Space Needle?" and the tour guide said "No..." So I told them that you could probably harvest it for steel and it was a very legitimate question XD. Yeah, I think she's fun and kind of a drama queen, but very amusing to be around.

She also finds me important because I'm one of the few friends who has lasted so long and hasn't abandoned her. I told her from the start, I will never promise not to abandon her because I have abandoned friends in the past and I can never promise forever to anyone. She then made the conclusion that only people who never promise forever are the truly loyal ones. lol. Loyalty is really one of my strongest virtues. With some friends, I get fed up with a lot of shit and then we just end up not talking and grow apart. Otherwise, if I care about a person enough to call them a real FRIEND, I want to keep them forever.

Speaking of abandoning, thing are trying to smooth over between me and Brian. I unblocked him from everything the other day, so he was only blocked for 2 weeks. A short time span considering the amount of time I usually prefer to go AWOL. Sometimes it lasts years, like it did with me and TG. The entire time, though, we were writing e-mails, so technically it doesn't count as an AWOL period because I would have really preferred no communication. I kind of worried that would upset him more, though, and I kind of upset him enough. Usually when I do this, it doesn't affect the other person that much. Actually, I think he was ok after the first 2 days, so I probably could have just not written to him, but I wanted to, because I wanted him to try to understand some things about me and I hope that helped. We'll see. I gave him a list of 4 things I would like him to not do to me anymore, all of which are very simple and he should have no problem following, so I hope that will help and we won't fight anymore because fighting with close friends really SUCKS, especially when you constantly feel frustrated and feel like the other person doesn't understand you or why what they are doing is harmful.

Anyway, so first Koop is coming on June 8, then Chaos is coming right after that, then Justin is coming for the 4th of July. I should invite Brian over to come before that so I have a giant time period where I have guests over. That would be awesome. I hope everything will work out, especially with Koop's medical issue. Since he's from Australia, if things don't work out, I really don't know when I can see him the next time : (. Koop is probably my best friend I met online. Sucks that he has to be a foreigner :p.

So far I've been to two game days/night with two different game groups. I'm going to my third in a couple hours. It's at this guy's house who lives literally 5 mins away. I'm kind of nervous to go there because I have a feeling I will be the only girl amongst at least 10 guys. I still will go, but it's just a little awkward when that happens. I'm not sure if I will actually end up making any friends (probably not), but at least I can entertain myself learning new games. I played "Cranium" for the first time, which is this fun party game and "Citadel" which was this Eurogame that made me kind of cranky because even though it was kind of entertaining, it lasted over 2 hours and I was losing really horribly the entire time XD;. I'm willing to try it again, though.

Justin, Brian, and I played L4D2 (this shooting Zombie Game) last night and it kind of sucked. I think it may be ok next time if we get 4 people and Brian doesn't take 4 hours to start playing the game. I'm tired of both Brian and Justin yelling at me because I suck at the game so they better be nicer next time. Or I'll just play with Robert's friends. They're at least very nice and don't mind me sucking lol. I don't play FPS, so I really don't know what I'm doing and I get lost/always push the wrong buttons and generally do dumb things XD.

And there's totally a reason behind the shiny shoes thing, when my high school boyfriend broke up with me the reason he gave was "because you wear shiny shoes" so it wasn't totally random XD

Yeah, I remember you told me that some boyfriend broke up with you over that. Sounds like a typical HS relationship :3. Nice to see you on LJ, even though you haven't updated in a year and a half. You should update!
