Er I don't know why I've grown terrible at updating this thing. I'm not really going to talk about what I've been up to cause that would take too long.

Instead I'm going to mention some facet of Japanese culture I find really weird. In Japan, it's completely inappropriate to show your backside to anyone. My supervisor's mom said that i needed to get longer shirts cause I flash my backside to children and they don't want to see that. It's not that my shirts are so short, but every time I sit on the ground(which is where all the kids classes take place), the backside shows and I have no longer shirts.

I went to badminton the other day and my shirt rode up at one point and suddenly the ladies were all like "OMG SENAKA" Which means "Your back side is showing". Obviously hip huggers and tiny shirts don't exist here. Even the sluttiest looking girls here wear ridiculously short hotpants and skirts and still none of their backsides show. It's so bizarre. I guess the only time it would be acceptable to show your backside is at the beach.

I'm coming back to California at the end of July cause I got accepted to graduate school. I'll be doing a Masters Program in Library Science cause I want to be a librarian. I really doubt if I can pass my first class which right off the bat requires a 15 page paper and the last time I attempted that, I barely passed. But then again the teacher was really difficult. Maybe it will be better this time. In any case, I'll be back in San Jose with the annoying mariachi >_<. I don't really want to come back home. Technically I could stay here since it's an online program, but I already told my company I'm going back and I should probably be close to the university any way so I can receive help on my papers.

Otherwise, I got wii fit and have been doing that a lot. I had the ingenious idea to start doing the step aerobics as I watched old seasons of America's Next Top Model and that's been okay. I also have been spending a ton of time on Mario Kart Wii. It's soooo fun. Even funner than Double Dash :D. I love Mariokart!
