As if my life isn't miserable enough already, two weeks in a row, my two favorite contestants get voted off American Idol. ONE AFTER THE OTHER. Not that anyone cares about AI who reads this, but AI is one of the only things that usually makes me happy, now I'm so pissed off that the pretty boy who cannot sing rock and roll and butchered Queen's "We Will Rock You" of *all songs*, *and* was criticized by Queen, and who has been continuously sucking for a long time has been voted through, where my country bumpkin hasn't. It was bad enough last week when the powerdiva got voted off and she was never in the bottom 3. AI pisses me off so much sometimes.

I did find out that my favorite female contestant, Mandisa-



Is pretty hardcore about her religion and more or less feels that homosexuality is an affront to god :|. She would not sing in a concert benefiting a gay community. Also, there has been controversy that she is a homophobe by stating in an interview that she supports some evangelist who is strongly linked to homophobia. yadda yadda. I don't know why it's not okay for a contestant to celebrate their religion because it really is a *huge* part of them. Mandisa was smart understanding that a lot of Americans would be put off by that so she rarely uttered anything too related to her relationship with god. It kind of aggravates me that she is considered a homophobe because she's one of those kinds of people who really loves everybody, which is what she stated in her interview after the controversy. She did not want to sing at the concert because she didn't identify with it. It's like asking her to sing at a country concert. Guh. She's not like my parents who think all gays are mentally diseased and should be sent to Siberia. Anyway, I am shocked that she got voted off just like I am shocked how Bucky was voted off. it's not fair ;_;...

BUCKY. Man he was a bumpkin. There are a lot of bumpkins far into this season, more than have ever made it this far on American idol. The most famous one is "Kellie Picker" who is a female hick in every sense.



The elitist AI LJ community, a lot of them have a huge problem with her even though she is one of America's most favorite/popular contestants in every sense. Here is a pick... HAHAHA. "Pick Pickler" has become the big motto for her. I kinda liked "Man Diva". I wish I could think of /find some good ones for Bucky.

Anyway, one of the reasons I was so obsessed over Bucky this year, even though he was no Bo Bice, was because he was a country bumkin in every sense.



gr, there aren't that many shots of Bucky I can find right now. Anyway, yes HICK. Half the time, we don't even understand what the hell he's saying. Also he has a twin brother, Rocky(no kidding), who looks *exactly* like him. He is modest and silly and always has a smile on his face, even when the audience/other contestants were wishing him a farewell. Gah this depresses me. I liked him a lot :|. I really cannot stand the prettyboy and his prettyface any longer. He belongs in a boyband, not American Idol.



*sigh*. Even though most of the AI lj community hate the two bumpkin southerners, I really don't think I can go there for a few days and have them be all "OMG FINALLY!1111" when talking about Bucky leaving the show. Although I will be doing that myself when Ace leaves. *mopes*.

heh. I don't think that she will take first place this year, however it will be a huge battle with her duking it out with Chris at the end. This is what I predict. I also prediced Bo would take the win last season and that he didn't really pissed me off. In some ways, I like Pickler better than Carrie. Of all the contestants left right now, I would be most pissed off if Kellie wins because she has a huge chance of it. I would say Ace, but I think he won't make it past the next couple of rounds.

I didn't like this season much, the only contestant I was even partly interested in was Kevin and I quit watching after he was voted off. My favorite team was eliminated last week on the Amazing Race, though, so that sucked.

Anyway... while I know voting on AI is ultimately still decidd by random hordes of obsessed fans constantly dail-voting their favorite like, 50 times, Mandisa would not have fared well had she ultimately won. Same for that dude tear-assing out with Nickelback or SLipknot... whatever the hell he did the week I watched.

In Mandisa's case, an Idol contract with generalized pop music isn't what I think she'd ultimately want to make... and if any of her ideals or "agenda" if you will, were to leak in, it would probably play hell on her contract. Besides, making it this far into the show always pretty much garauntees the contestants some eventual contract, and most of the time it'll end up being more flexible or tailored to their actual tastes/favored styles.

That other dude with the Cookie Monster metal? Jesus. Simon was right. People like that normally wouldn't be caught dead watching Idol, let alone aiming to win it. He needs to be in a real band with a group of unshaven maladjusted dudes kicking back beers in smokefilled dank/awesome clubs and kicking some ass.

I think you might be referring to Chris. Right now, he is a clear favorite to win and I *really* hope he takes the gold this time, ahead of Bo, although I did like Bo better.

I have no idea who you are talking about. Ugh... I really don't >_<. Maybe the same guy you were taking about Chris again? I'm curious. I think you might be referring to Chris twice though.

I was pissed off enough that Bo didn't win the competiton last year. If the ditzy southern girl wins AGAIN two years in a freaken row, I will be even more pissed off. Believe it or not, but the producers are really aiming for Chris to win the competiton this year. They are aiming for a white male to win. There is this whole conspiracy going on with how they manipulate the audience at home so they can get rid of the contestants they want to get rid of.

In Bucky's case, he did an awsome performance with "Fat Bottomed Girls" but they kept saying how he couldn't ennunciate his words(he's a bumpkin with a VERY THICK ACCENT, give him a break) also they stuck him to perform first and that always is not good.

As for Ace, they DELIBERATELY showed footage of Queen reacting negatively to his desires but then one of the band members came out with a statement that: it wasn't how it went at all,he was proud of how Ace did on the performance, he "made the song his own", they had no problems recordning with Chris, and they were overall pleased at how the recording session went. I still can't stand Ace, though. A lot of fans saw through that, and then the little girls kept powervoting him though.
