I really wouldn't call myself a humanist. I don't feel that man is the measure of things; well, not really. Humanism seems to suggest that [the way humans see things=the way things are], which is passable but it usually turns into [the way I see things=the way things are] which is disagreeable to me.

Anyways, have fun in silly Gainesville where it's no warmer or less rainy than Santa Cruz =p

hey, Justin, his brother and I just finsihed watching Saikano. They really hated it! Every five minutes, I'd hear "fuck this show". I should have counted the amount of times he said it, it must have been over 20 times XD. It was a pretty messed up show, though... I think James(brother) might have found Elfen Lied a little less screwed up though XD. Saikano was a lot like Elfen Lied but even MORE screwed. Jeesus. Anyway, I'll get the whole thing to you somehow so you can watch it : ).Also he downloaded some bootleg copy of Rent for me <3<3. You gotta watch it with me cause I think you'd like it... unless you're like Justin and hate musicals XD.

He made me really cranky at him today so he decided to make it up to me by arranging for us to go across the county somewhere just to see "Brokeback Mountain" tomorrow! I guess the theater is pretty flaming too, by the way he described it. I'm pretty excited, I guess it has rainbow flags all over it : ). I hope I can get him to take a picture there. hehe. Called "The Gateway". wooo.

Seems like everyone I know has seen that movie; most of them liked it. I read an article saying that Bush screened it in the whitehouse and that he didn't know it was about GAY cowboys. Then I read another article saying that he liked the film and recomended it. It's pretty funny either way.

at the theater they had a comment area where you can write your opinion of the movie on notecards. Someone wrote "fairies on the prairie and homos on the range". It would have been a lot funnier if "homos" and "range" rhymed, but it was still pretty dumb.

Depressing movie though ;_;. Bush probaly liked it BECAUSE it was so depressing!
