zaichikarkyI saw War of the Worlds! Opening night last night : ). I went with Stephan and a friend of his. It took us a long time to get downtown because I refused to catch a certain bus XD. Then I decided I HAD to get a crepe because I'd been craving one for a long time, so I came in during the previews and couldn't find them. Oh well.
I really really loved it 0__o. I'm a HUGE fan of alien movies though! Um... I think I can relate this movie most to Independence Day except it was a lot less humorous. I think the explaination of what brought down the aliens was the best ever, though. Certainly better than infecting the aliens' ship with a computer virus, and being allergic to water 0_o. The explaination was that the aliens hadn't built up resistance to our bacteria and other protozoans so they died soon after they got here!
I love Tom Cruise XD. That's like... yeah. He's my second favorite actor and I just think he's so awsome and the more movies I watch with him in, the more awsome I find him. Second to Tom Hanks. I think he's an awsome actor and he's hawt, which Tom Hanks isn't really :p. He's also a crazy scientologist and believes in aliens and hates psychiatry!! I also really like Dakota Fanning because she's my favorite current childstar so the cast was really good. Also there was this Tim Robbins guy who had so much hype in the movie 0_o. At first I thought he was a fat Tom Hanks, but then I decided he was not 0_o. I have no idea who he is or why so much of the audience cheered so much when he came on. I'll look him up on imb after this.
The movie could have done a lot more character development... it was mainly about running away from the aliens. Signs had a LOT of character development and it was not based on special effects... they stayed in the house most of the movie. I probably like Signs better because I'm a huge fan of what's his name director dude. I should learn his name, but he has a weird name ^_^*. Sh-something XD.
Go see War of the Worlds!!! I especially reccomend it if you're a big fan of alien movies like me XD.
I want to read the book : ). It's rather old and by that famous guy who also wrote Timeline, and the movie was terrible and I heard it wasn't at all based on the movie(that's the one I'm thinking of, right? the time machine one?) 0_o. Justin, ask James if he has it because I wanna borrow it ^_^*. James has toooons of sci fi books! It's so awsome looking at his collection! Justin sucks because he doesn't read books *pokes him*. So I bring sci fi books for James to read : ). I bought him a few of them, but I think the box got very lost in the mail because I sent it away like 3 weeks ago and it never came. I'm very sad because it had lots of con stuff too ;_;. I hope it shows up... I wish I did tracking on it. *sigh*.
Justin is coming on Sunday! hurray! Jeferry is coming on Saturday probably because he's sad and I think it may make him happier being social. I hope we do lots of fun stuff and there are no problems! yay! I notice that whenver there are 3 of my friend together, especially Jeferry, and Adrienne, there is always some sort of problem.I guess the "3's a crowd" thing applies to me. I usually don't hang out with more than one friend at a time. A lot of the time when I go over 1 friend, someone ends up feeling neglected. And with some friends, they act really stupid about it :|.I try not to, I just exclude myself and go home or exclude myself in general XD.
I'm worried about my bigrats. I'm having Sean come in on Saturday and Stephan doesn't want to really take care of them so I may have to come back at some point and clean their litter boxes because ferrets crap a lot :|. I may ask Sean to come in another time... so I'm not sure how long I'll be in Santa Rosa.
Today is my last orientation day! then I go to big chinese buffet with the staff and then play with my ferries and then go to Santa Rosa. I wonder if I can get my mom to buy me another bed because she insisted that my bed from santa rosa go to my new apt 0_o.
