I had a feeling this would happen. Yarg. Fujita sensei doesn't want me taking Japanese 50 . So I wrote her an explaination on why I think I should be able to take it. I don't think it's fair of her to decide this. I got a pass in the class, when she says I got a D(I actually got a "pass"). Ishibashii-sensei probably would have let me continue, which is what's annoying about it, because she let me continue onto 6 when I got a D in Japanese 5. I don't know if she will change her mind about it or not. I will be really annoyed if she doesn't, though, because I don't think it's her right to deny me the right to take the higher class when I know I can do well in it :|.

my gpa is already screwed up from sticking with a major that I really sucked at. I got Ds in every single class last quarter. There is no reason for her to do this to me because I DID get a "pass" in Japanese 6 and I don't think she has the right to prevent me from being in the next class because I did technically pass. The only reason she would have to do this is to "punish" me for being a bad student, and I'd hope she's not that mean : (.

If you really want to impress her, write it in Japanese, but then again if you got a D perhaps you shouldn't. You might think your asking her to let you into the class when in fact you might be insulting her mother. Don't worry about it though, most people in Japan speak English anyway.
