what I liked about today.
Maybe next I'll make a "what i didn't like about today" post next ^__^*.

Hmm... well, FIRST, a number of very funny things, or maybe I think they're just funny because I'm in my hyper mood, happened today.

In English, we were reading this new short story called "A clean Well-Lighted Place" outloud . In the middle of it, when the old drunkard spoke for the first time , Brian did his "HHHUHHHH" impression of an old man. The class digs it like my pokemon impressions ^_^*. After that, when we were discussing the story, Mrs Bullinger was prying into the title she was like "Why is it called 'A clean well-lighted place' as opposed to... to..." while she hesitated, Waldon whispered, and only I heard "A dingy dark place". So that one got to me ^_^*. I don't even know why. it wasn't *that* funny. Probably just hearing it from Waldon 0__o

Waldon is a SERIOUS nerd. He is so shy and quiet and always seems to be so serious 0_o. Lately though, he's been acting weird. That comment and also this certian ruor about Kaeti... She apparently asked him if she could flash him and he said "Yes, whatever you want to do, Kaeti" 0__o. There were others there, so it wasn't probably made up. boooy... I wonder what's happening to ole' Waldo!

Next, when I was in the library, frantically trying to get the cumputer to stop freezing and print my homework, I see Simpson walk in, look around the room, and walk out 0_o. Then I see Umpa. Simpson talked to Umpa and then left the building, then I go up to Umpa and he froze in his tracks and ran after simpson yelling "I found her, I found her!" He ran straight out of the library and was still yelling when I ran after them both XD;. I gave Simpson the wrong tape ^_^*. I gave him one of my Japanese first semester tapes. He was all "It was a lady speaking Japanese. Well, I learned how to say yes in Japanese. Hai" *laugh*.

I apologized and said I was looking for the tape at 3 am last night and I guess got him the wrong one. Then he was like "You study Japanese at 3 am?" And I just nodded, not wanting to go into what I was really doing, of course ^_^*. Then he just said "I wish I could do that when I can't sleep." Oh well, I guess he will get a full recording of my NORCAL music on monday when I'll work with him... *is nervous*.

Scoggy was at that encounter with Simpson and after Simps left, I told him that I got that stupid music stuck in my head ^_^*. The music was this really stupid, overly simple, low rhythem that repeated over and over from some song or something . Scoggy told me it was my Norcal music yesterday. He shut up about it after I showed him my REAL music XD;, but not until he got the thing stuck in my head! So I started singing it and then Scoggy and Umpa both joined in and we were bouncing in unison with it down the halls ^__^;.

Last funny part... I met Brian at the park so he could give me this picture he had at home. While we were there, we saw this group of JR kids making cat calls and I yelled "YOU KNOW YOU WANT HIM, HE'LL DO ALL OF YOU!" I was referring to Brian ^_^* Then he was like "Damn Straight! You can all be my day pussys!" I was cracking up from that. The conversation proceded as follows...

Brian: Don't worry, Lisa, you know you'll always be my all night pussy
Me: NO! I'm better than that!
Brian: Day pussy then?
Me: Try again.
Brian: my one pussy.
Me: LOL. That's a little better, but I got like the deragotory conotation of it..
Brian: My girl?
Me: that would infer that I'm loyal to you...
Brian: Don't worry, Lisa. You can sleep around, I won't mind. You can bring in new techniques into the bed. I like variety.

LOL!!!!! Okay, THAT was funny. No matter how much he want me, that was SO funny.

During the ride, he SOMEHOW brought up my hooker thing again. I VAGUELY remember telling him how he can go into bancruptcy hiring me as his whore. That got into my name for my prostitution organization... We stuck with "Lisa's dates" For now, but it's the FRUIT date. And I'm not going for his banner though.. he wanted to advertise in play bow with a vagina with a big date sticking out of it 0__o.

What else... he kept wanting to know why I kissed Matt and won't kiss him 0__o. Actually, it was Yamato that kissed ME, and it wasn't romantic anyway so nyeeh. I felt nothing from it. Then when we got back to my house, and my dog was sniffin' his crotch, he was like "You should take your dogs initiative". ...

Gawd, I don't even know why I'm friends with this guy ^_^. He's the biggest pervert in the world, I'm sure of it. But he keeps ensuring me, "You know you like it" and so far, I haven't admitted it, but since I'm no longer friends with Yamato and Alexis... . I NEED MY PERVNESS TO COME OUT SOMEWHERE. I'm faaar off from him though... heh. REALLY. He assures me that if I ever felt tired of it, he'd stop, and I belive him. He does it because I let him ^_^*

Oh, and I went to see the play. It wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. It was about... a kookey family... and stuff... but I'm glad I went anyway, it helped me get my mind off things, and it was really funny in some parts. ENSPECIALLY the crazy Russians in it.

"My cousin told me..." *shakes fingers* "Olga, never be stingy with the blintzes!* XD. Dat was classic.

I think I'll save the depressinf parts of today unless I won't be able to sleep. Then I'll come back and rant. Right now I don't want to do that because it will just cause insomnia.

Hmm... I privated my entry from yesterday... I think Omshi is the only one who might occationally read this stuff(who knows why ^_-), but anyway, I revealed way too much about TG and I in it and I don't want anyone to read it ~_~. It's way too personal Hopefully it worked 0_o.

Today, I got pulled out of chemistry to work with Simpson for Northern California Honor Band! I was so happy! As soon as I walked in the door, Duel was like "Lisa, you need to go work with Simposon NOW." So I grinned and I waved to him... and OMIGOD, he smiled ^_^*. That doesn't happen often, I tell ya!!

Okay, as I understood it from Simps... I have a pretty high chance of getting into Norcal with the Bari... as for the alto , it was basically like "you have no chance whatsoever, so just forget it" ^_^*. Okay, that's a small dissapointment, but I can live with it. So, Simpson and I spent the hour working on the rhythems , the music is much harder than anything I've ever done in band... but I think I can do it. I feel pretty confident. THEN, I decided that I needed some extra time with him and even though Simpson discouraged it, I talked to Mrs Bullinger if I could miss her class, and she was understanding about it. I thought she would be when I came in ^_^*.I talked to her for a while about my essay too... and she said I could miss her class on monday ^_^.

So I went home and was very productive right off the bat ^_^*. I did science homework... and was falling asleep while doing it, so I took a nap as soon as I was done. I couldn't do one of the sheets, AGAIN. I think Duel will go over that tomorrow though... After da nap, I practiced the bari for over an hour and got a lot better. I did 2 of the 3 sections and intend on hammering the last section and the scales this weekend so Simpson and I can work out technecalities on Monday...

*is really excited* ^_______^. I hope to get in!! Titus is back, teh debil!111 and I've been talking more about band stuff with him..

What else... hmmm... I have this 3 page essay to write now -_-;. Crap, I thought the damn thing was due NEXT friday! That was the original due date! It's unknown how late I'll stay up with this one... And also... I have heard nothing from Alexis. I'm not calling her, of course. I've cooled down a little...

Hehe.. that reminds me, after school Scoggy, Adrienne and I walked home together ! That hasn't happened in a while! The problem this time was, I had the bari ^_^*. After complaining, Scoggy carried it for me, and I carried his trumpet ^_^*. The whole time he was like "It's not heavy!" and I was like "... Yeah... the damn thing is ONLY half my body weight!". Half way home, Adrienne's mom came to pick me up... I mentioned Alexis, and Scoggy was all seriously "You're angry". 0___o. Well, I feel less angry now, actually. *sigh*. I don't know what I'm gunna do...

Well, I know what I'm doing now, though!! Essay time ^_^*

Either later tonight or tomorrow, I intend to write down all the ideas of this original story I've been thinking of. Shadow Puppets SO inspired me 0_o. I finished it yesterday and now Brian has it. Gawd... that book was so fantastic 0_o. Musch better than the last one... I need to read it again ^_^*. Later though, maybe in a years time when I have forgotten details, just like I did with some of the other ender books and Shadow of the Hegemon ^_^*.

The internet broke for a week 0___o. I was dying from it!! No Koopa, TG, or Chelz for a whole week!!! 0___o. But it's all good now. My dad made me take care of it and a techie just came over today to fix it ^__^.

Yesterday, I bought da sequel to Shadow of the Hegemon finally! Now I'm at least 2/3rds done. I realized Brian is a fan and he wanted to borrow it too ^_^. Shadow Puppets is book is even better than Shadow of the Hegemon 0___o. It deals with Petra and Bean's realationship a lot ^_^*. It's quite cute though. Bean cries a lot... hehe...

That same day I got my book, I went over to Mrs Mullinger's house for the pre thanksgiving dinner she threw for the class :P. They made me do my pokemon impressions!!! The different part this time though was that the whole class wanted to hear them and not just Hank and Aaron ^_^*. As usual, Aaron laughed himself to tears ^_^*. Enspecially when I did my Wheezing impression. We also played Trivial persuit and there was this question about Laika in it!! It was for our group and I knew it, of course ^_-. hehe. Everyone was like "How on earth did you know that?!" And I replied "Just some useless Russian trivia...". ^__^. My dad talks about that dog too much for his own good!

I got out of class for the whole day to do this challenge day thing ^_^. I was pretty much what I expected, but I just didn't expect it to be so emotional or anything ^_^*. Basically, these two motivational speakers came in and made us do activities designed to reveal ourselves to strangers the whole day.

Alto saxie freshman(OMIGOD, I learned his name ^_^) was there and he basically, STALKED me the whole day. That's okay, I like him ^_^. Too bad he's first in line for the freshman canning day in band 0_o. Why do I obsess over freshmen so much?! Just because they are adorable, and naive and stupid, and needing of an upperclassman adopter ^_^*. Anyway, we SOMEHOW ended up with the same group number and I learned basically ONE thing reavealing about him... he has an interesting familiy situation ^_^*.

Probably the most profound time came during our last activity when we were asked these series of questions. We had to all stand on one side, and if the question asked applied to us, we had to cross the line to the other side. Some examples of the things asked :"Do you know someone who has died from ____, _____, or____?""Are you or do you know someone who is bisexual or homosexual?""Hae you been made fun of because you are *insert a bunch of possibilities*,"Are you female?""Are you of Jewish heriatage or Jewish faith"?(I was the only one who crossed for that particular one ^_^*), "has someone physically abused you?" And a whole BUNCH more.

A LOT of people cried ^_^*. A lot of guys did too, it felt strange. They kept telling us to open up and cry and stuff, but I still felt strange... I think I've trained myself too well or something. Richard started crying and THAT was sad >_<. Then he mentioned something about how much he appreciated Brian's friendship, and that was as close to tears as I came during the whole thing ^_^*. Later, Brian told me he wanted to be good friends with me because he's never had a close friend who was a girl ^_^*.

I like dat perverted Sophmore, but I dunno if I'm willing to take our friendship to a much higher level because I *still* think he has a crush on me and he'll use the oppertunity to flirt with me more ^_^*.

I hope Altosaxie freshman and I become friends... kinda at the stage Scoggy and I are at. He's adorable ^_^*. I hate having this weakness for freshmen, I REALLY do. One of the questions asked was "Were you or are you made fun of by someone in this room?". The only example I could think of was him, so I told him he was the only reason. Then he apologized and gave me the hackysack I gave to him for a while that we fought over. Hehe, he didn't *really* make fun of me. We just teased eachother ^_^*. I felt kind of bad, so I apologized for calling him whatever names I teased him with for the day.
But then again, he is REALLY immature. That's one of the reasons why I like him because I was just like him when I was a freshman, but I've grown a *little* smarter than to make fun of people for no reason, which is what he likes to do. I think if we be friends, I will get annoyed with him frequently and yell at him like what Scoggily gets sometimes ^_^*.

One of the things I didn't like in Challenge day was their thing with "TWELVE hugs a day will make you happy!" hehe 0_o*. Yeeeah... I didn't enjoy having to run around the room and find random people to hug. Brian GLOPMED me last and I huggle altosaxie freshman. Other than that, I did NOT enjoy it. I mean, I don't even like it when my friends like to hug me! What makes them think I want to be huged by a bunch of strangers ^_^*.

Yeesh... I'm *still* thinking about today ^_^*. Over all, I'm glad I made the effort to show up to it.

Ahhh... that was niiice ^_-. And NO, I didn't type that all up, just a little something I picked up from my "spamr deys" on yahoo chat, before even pokemon came around...

Anyway, today I came into french class BARELY on time because I thought it was break AGAIN after first period and sat around for this time about FOUR minutes. So I had no time to get my french book. At that time, I was at a REALLY good part in Ender's Game. It was when Ender finds out that is really *wasn't* a game. I love that look sooo much 0__o. I want to just KISS Scoggily for bringing it to me ^_^.

ANYWAY, so she told me to put it away once... and I did. I took it back out when the whole class was playing this game... that was in my locker anyway! So she takes away my book and I get SO pissed. I tell her I don't have a game and she says I shoulda gotten another one... THEN I take out another book, and she takes that one away from me too. GAWD. I tell her I don't want to play and tell her I want Fs instead, but she says I have no choice. So I have to GO to my locker, wasting ANOTHER bathroom pass, only to play the stupid game for about 3 minutes. Then she tells me I have "the nerve" to talk back to her and she'll be giving me a refferal. *is getting angry again*. Gawd, I hate her ;_;. I've NEVER had this kind of a problem with a teacher before -___-. Last year, something similar happened with me and her, not THAT bad though, and I got sent outside. I wish she could have just given me Fs and sent me outside AGAIN.

I don't see why she had to throw a fit because I was reading a book. It's MY fucking book! She had no right to take it away! GRRR... it's an infringement of my civil liberties is what it is. At lunch, I just checked out Ender's Game to finish off the ending anyway, but I realized that it is ILLEGAL for her to take away MY belongings. I used birthday money to buy that book, it's MINE. We have been studying civil liberties in governemt class for a while... I realized what she did to me was "illegal seizure". I'll ask her for the book back in a week at most, and that BITCH better give it back, or else I WILL take action.

In other news, I wrote out sections of my mom's performance review for her because she just doesn't have the english, or abilities to do it herslef : ). I should be a ghost writer, seriously ^_-. I'm GOOOD ^__-. I did better than my dad.

That and playing Mario Sunshine made me happier today.

Adrienne's dad took me out on another ride today!! I think his name is Logan ^_^*. Her mom's name is Phillis ^_^*. THERE GOES TO SHOW YOU! My theory about every male name having a female counterpart. Phillip----> Phillis ^_^*. This time we went out for about an hour ^_^*. Almost all the way to Calistoga. I saw that sign out there "See Old faithful Geyser!" Last time I went there, I got to pet a kid(a baby goat ^_^*). Yeeesh... I wanted to pet more goats, but I didn't ask to stop there ^_^*. Logan is suu nice to let me go on his motercycle. I told my mom about my rides, and I think she doesn't approve of it. She tried to express that with my dad, but for the *first* time, he really didn't care 0_o. I was surprised. Had he supported her, that would be the last of my times riding on the motercycle. She can't make me do anything without consulting him... sheesh. Unless it's something stupid, then all she does is scream her head off until I get scared and do it .

Hmmm... what else... I've been thinking about THPS *WAY* too much. It's what happens when someone vents on me about depressing topics. I can't handle it too well. I mean, I'm happy I'm there for them and would rather take feeling worried then not being there at all, but it takes a large toll on my psyche.

Also, I think I'm failing chemistry 0__o. Dat isn't too great. Duell's class is just like Wellman's. Duell REMINDS me a lot of Wellman. They're both as old, they both have almost identical grading systems, they both like to pick on their students, they both like to yell at their classes, and they both are HILARIOUS 0__o. Hence, I like Duell already. Too bad I SUCK at chemistry and got a 30 on my test. I've never even got that horrible of a score on any of wellman's tests. I just MAY get a bad grade in his class. The stupid thing is... I REALLY don't need chemistry! GAH. I am a senior with 6 classes and 3 years of science already. Why I'm taking a 4th year of science, I'll never know. I need to drop the class... *really*. *whines on and on and on*

Matt told me that his friend got drunk one day and did that phone call. He's pretty sure because I'm not quite so sure yet ^_-. Oh well, I don't mind much actually, I was VERY amused by it.

Gah... so much school ^_-. I'm having some fun so far actually! I was so excited before school started that I got to sleep at about 3:30 am(and no, no one called me this time). At school, I found out that Matt's brother was in band. He's pretty kewl actually ^_-. Scoggly was scared of him. I had Scoggly over to my house the other day for the first time. Jeneher called and we messed around with her..

Jeneher: Hi
Me: Can I call you back in a few minutes?
J: Why?
Me: Because....
Scoggly: Who's that?!
Me: No one!
J: Is someone over at your house?! Is it a guy?
Me:*goes to the baffroom* NO! It's a girl!

Then he wanted the phone so I had to wrestle it away from him. I hung up on Jeneher and then she called back a few more times... then hung up when Scoggly answered the phone. After that, he ran out of my house when I told him my mom was coming 0_o.

I start Jazz band tomorrow 0_o. I'm playing bari sax. It's the BIG one 0__o. I even volunteered to do it. In band, Simpson wanted one of the altos to switch to bari. I wasn't volunteering for that one. One of the THREE(!!!!!!!!!) new Alto freshman can to that ^_-. Eric volunteered to play tenor -_-. I told him that I'll get lost every four meadues without him -_-. But the new freshmen are pretty good, I think! Well, I guess I will play more firsts this year.

SO, enough about saxophones! This year, Wednesdays are great for me again ^_-. Band(^_-), AP English( I hate the students but love the curriculm and teacher !), and my public speaking class! But on Thursdays I have to carry these books and big binders around 0_o. Gah...

Arky's daily events... take 234423! Hmm, On Thursday( I seriously don't remember what happened on Wednesday 0_o) I went to the library to work for a while ^_-. I shelved some books and then did some work on the compie... until it crashed 0_o. Then I went into Hot Topic!! Wha... that store has got to be the best store in Santa Rosa ^_-. It has the cute stuff ! Afro Ken, Invader Zim, care bears, and the best shirts. Ever. Yeah, I just go in there to stare at the shirts...

Then I found out that Jeneher had surgury on her foot and wanted me to come on over because she was as bored as hell . They broke her foot and she has a cast now. I wanted to decline because of the last time, but I felt bad for her :p. Little did I know I had to be her slave for the rest of the night. It wasn't so bad ^_-. She was a very polite ruler actually. Her dad had it so they get direct TV and all the pay per view channels for free 0_o. So we watched "A walk to Remember". Sad movie >_<.I also brought my RF switch for their N64 and we got to play it. Elizabeth had a friend stay the night too and we played Smash Brothers. She was actually the worthiest opponent I've ever beaten ^_-. Yes indeed.

In the morning, Jeneher helped me do my AP english HW that was about summarizing the biblical stories. She knew all of them 0_o. I never thought the bible could be so interesting! Some of it was really neat! I mean, God wanted to destroy this city, Sodom, because of it's wickedness. So he sent some of his angels to survey it. Upon arriving, a mob stormed the house of probably the more nicer men in town(crap, I forgot his name >_<, Tol?). The whole mob wanted to rape the angels, but they were in Tol's house and he tried to protect them. So the angels relayed the message to God and he told Tol to run away with his daughters and wife while the whole city and it's neighboring city burst into flames, ordering them not to turn back. Tol's wife did and she turned into a pillar of salt. Then Tol settled in a closeby reigon and had to start a family there... with his daughters 0_o.

Yesh, so after that I went home and did pretty much nothing for hours until Wei-Chen and I got to talking and we decided to go to the mall ^_^. Hot Topic again !! Oh yez, I can't get enough of that store 0_o. Her dad took us and we stayed there until the mall closed, going into various places. Wei-Chen bought me some pretty neat shirts for my birthday! YAY! More to add to my shirt collection!! One is a Mexican surfer shirt and the other is a make-your-own-design shirt! WOW! I wonder what kind of design I'll make with it ^_^. We got lost trying to get back, but made it ^_-.

Then I saw Invadar Zim for the first time 0_o. Dammit! I want to know if Zim and Dib will be Baloney forever?!

Yesh. I was worried about how the people would flub my schedule, so I stayed up until about 4 am last night. And woke up at 10:30...

Suu... I dunno why I spend hours typing about my daily events, but I seem to want to...
Okay, so today I went to orientation. It was the same as every year except this year it was in the new cafeteria/multipurpose room. That was okay excpe that everyone had to wait in a long line getting in. I came at the perfectly WRONG time too! Right before I went in, Kanoe and Wei-Chen went out and right after I got out, Adrienne and Kirsten went in 0_o. Hehe... oh well. I got my schedule and I'm so excited. I got Mrs. Lacey after all!

1. band- durr... Man, I'm worried about the tardies 0_o. Simpson is a prick about tardies ...
2. honors french third year- Mrs. Trenchard is the BIGGEST prick about tardies , but I love her anyway ^_^*. I'm so happy I get to take both french and band!
3. AP english- *whimpers* I still haven't done my HW assignment . I've heard mixed reviews about Bullinger. I just DON'T know.
4. GVT with Lacey- YAYYYYY!!! Cassie is in my class... too bad we kind of stopped talking ^_^*. Maybe we'll become friends again?
5. Speech with Mansell- WHAAAAAAA!!! Lacey and Mansell?! WOW ^_^*. I can't wait for this class.
6. Chemistry with Duel- Yesh... I wanted Mrs Erikson, but oh well. This is the only teacher I don't know a lot about.

Anyway, after I was done with my stuff, Adrienne and Kirsten forced me to go with them. I'd already missed DS9 anyway -_-. Suu... I stayed. I saw Rachel there too! She was helping her mom out at the orientation. She FINALLY saw Lord of the Rings. And she said her friend was making her a Legolas costume like Kathi wants to make me! WOW 0_o. But we decided that Rachel looked more like Arwen because of her hair. I get to be leggie and Adrienne is Aragorn(hehe... Alexis may have a thing to say about that). So anyway... After Adrienne was done we went to Tacobell to buy some drinks. I let her ride on my handlebars(brought bike with me) ^_^. Lucky her! She's like 90 lbs. It wasn't hard ot ride her ^_^. Then we went to Raleys and bought Ice cream 0_o. Then we saw Zach and called him a stalker ^_^. Yessu... I rode Adrienne back aways to her house. And then she rode my bike and fell off a few times ^_^*. we went back to her house and I colored in her Powerpuff girls coloring book and saw how many people did... BAAAD stuff in it! Blossom does SO not have a dildo!

... I'm tired now. I'll continue this tomorrow. *is worried about her workaholic mom who's still at work now at 11 pm*.

Yesh, today was very uneventful -_-. Um... Lesse. I woke up at like Freaken 7 am because my mom calle dmy house. Went back to sleep eventually and woke up at 11 am 0_o. Then watched DS9... was a VERY funny episode! Everyone caught this love fever and were all making out and stuff 0__o. Hehe.... then I... did nothing much. Cleaned the house a little and then waited until my mom came to take me out to dinner 0_o. We went to this restaurant... kind of fancy and my mom is like a connoiseur and like... critiqed EVERYTHING. Hehee... the pie was really goog though ^_^. I got home and did a whole lot of nothing some more! Called Aubrey and she talked to me a while about my would be english teacher. Yesh, I learned a lot about her 0_o. Then I did an interview with Tako and that's about all I will probably do today. Um yesh. Terribly exciting, isn't it?

Lesse... what did I do today? Well, I woke up at 9:30 for one... A bit later I guess. Then I went with my dad to see him fly his airplane. He agreed to let me go. I went only because I was super bored 0_o. That ate up some time. I drove him around a lot today. We went to a little produce store and bought a lot of fruit...

When I got home, I interviewed a few people and talked on AIM for quite a long time. Then My dad and I went to See the new Austin Powers movie :p. It ruled. I knew it would. Those movies just keep getting better and better! Austin in Japan? Priceless! Oh, before we left, I drew my neighbors on the street with chalk. I took a picture with them and their pictures :p. I think Richard's picture turned out to look most like himself. Then I got home and got a letter saying I had some assignment to do during the summer for AP English 0_o. It isn't that big of an assignment either 0___o. I don't see why the teacher just couldn't have given it out when school started or something. I think I'll spend the day in the library working on it when I go volunteer on friday.

Kaffi IMed me today saying she was willing to make me a LEGOLAS costume 0___o. I almost died. I'm really excited :p. I'll go to her house and we'll work on it. We seem to be dissagreeing about me having to carry arrows around though. I told her that I only wanted a bow and she's stubborn about it :p. I don't need arrows or a quiver :p. Well, that's all folks. A terribly exciting day, wasn't it?

Well, let's talk about Hiroshima now ^_^.

I met my first host family there. My host father was late to the host family party, so I felt scared ^_^*. I thought I was unwanted! But when I met him, I think he liked me. He spoke English pretty good, and I was happy. It took a while for him to get out what he wanted to say, he spoke quite slowly ^_^, but I was happy he spoke english so well. He took me home and I met my host mother, Yuriko. She didn't speak english as well, but we seemed to understand me and I her! They showed me pictures of their kids(who were all grown up!) and I was very excited to meet them. I spent the night in a little room with a traditional Japanese bed... on the floor! I was happy I had air conditioning there because Japan is a hot, sticky, humid country 0_o. The next day, I met my host sister, Akiko. Her and I hit ot off real well! She spoke English as well as Tadashi, my host father, and we understood each other very well! I met her at another host family party we had with fireworks! Fireworks are called "hanabi" in Japanese and I got a hanabi fan! On the way back home, Akiko and I talked about lotsa stuff. Mainly Mononoke Hime. Apparently she saw it in a drive through theater and she slept through all of it! I scolded her for doing that ^_^. Then... I told her of my dream to be a Japanese seiyuu. She was very surprised. I think I have other future plans now though ^_^*. They change quite often!

The next day we went to the Atom Bomb museum and saw the building where the atom bomb was detonated . It was uncomfortable for us Americans to be in the museum, and it was very sad as well. Most of the victems of the atrom bomb were innocent Japanese peeps not even involved in the war >_<. Very sad. I was ashamed for living in a country which did something so horrible.

On on very last day in Hiroshima, I met my host brother, Kentaro, on a boat ride we took. He was very shy at first! Didn't seem to wanna talk to me much, so I had trouble finding out how much English he knew. The boat ride was so fun! First we visited this shrine floating on water. It was pretty neat! There were these tame deer roming the shine. They let people pet them, feed them, etc. ! Then, we went out to Hiroshima's blue sea in a much bigger boat and had fun swimming! I, along with a bunch of our braver members of our group, jumped off the second story of the boat into the water! That was so much fun!

That last day in Hiroshima was certainly the best. During the evening, my host family and I went out to see one of the movie's I'd be psyched to see in Japan... the newest Miyazaki movie!! I later leared the title, "Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi". It was just wonderful ^_^. I'm not sure if it was better than Mononoke Hime though. I'd have to wait until they dub or sub it to see that. But it was a magical fantasy which I greatly adored. Oh, and I did something real cool in Hiroshima too. I went and tried Japanese Pizza called "Okonomiyaki". It was so yummy! I loved watching the cute Japanese guys make it too! Right in front of us on this huuuuuuge grill! Okonomiyaki is not like American pizza at all! It had noodles, and lots of vegetables like cabbage and been sprouts . You chose what you want to have in yours. I think mine had bacon too! Some have Squid 0____o. You'll never find anything like it in the US, Okonomiyaki is one one of a kind ^_-.

It was sad saying goodbye to our host family's the last morning in Hiroshima. I loved mine, and I think they really liked me too! It was even sadder that we only got three days in Hiroshima though : (. I wish I could have spent more time there!

And as for what I've been doing for the last few weeks ^_^*. Noffin much really. I started my Japanese class. It is SO big! I mean there must be like 70 people piled up in there! And many of those people are on the floor too. I know lots will drop. Today, I went to school orientation and got my schedule. I got all the classes I wanted! I'm real happy about that ^_^. And I found out I even get some classes with my friends ^_^. Yay! As of now, there is only one class I have no friends in... History. But maybe it won't be so bdad ^_^*. I don't know anything about the teacher either. Eee! Scary. But I'm real happy abut my classes and friends now ^_^. Yay! I have never had so many friends in any of my classes! Usually I have to make friends or be a loner in classes 0_o. I think that will be the case in my History class. Loner >_<.
