I've already had 3 interviews since I've been here... My job is ending in September and I'm trying to find a new job. I didn't get the first 2 jobs I interviewed for. This last one is the most important. It's working at the same school that Justin works at as a digital archivist. It would be sooooo amazing if I got this job. Just because I could go back to Florida and get my own place and stuff. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed. The interview went well, but you know I always think that and they don't select me XD. They seemed impressed with some things... there is a problem though iin that they said if they want to continue with the hiring process for me, I would have to fly out there on my own expense for a second interview. To which I told them "oh yeah ok..." but in reality this is not something I want to do at all. that's about 500 dollars which could just be thrown away like that. I will just ask them to do a skype interview. There is no reason they can't do that if they don't want to pay to send me out there.

I'll likely end up in Florida after October, but it would be great to go there with this job, which is a really nice one. I don't want to have to go back to the Auction House again. I mean, it's ok working there, but it's not ideal at all.

Thanks for everyone who participated in my fish naming poll. Please participate if you haven't! It was my last entry. It seems like "Ginger" is in the lead right now. My dad told me I should get a friend for him. Now I'm worried that he's lonely, but his particular breed is aggressive and while my fish is friendly, you never know. I may get him like a female guppy or something not bright. Bright fins trigger betta fish into attacking and being hostile. For now he likes to swim all to himself. He's a happy nice little friend and I'm hoping he can live for quite a while.

Ehhh, yeah. If they're not paying you to go out there to interview, and it isn't on your way to something already, then I'd really push for a Skype interview. And if they try to go 'but it was a test to see how much you wanted the job!', then you can just say a $500 investment for a job isn't worth it.

Yeah, betta fishes don't play well with other types of fish? They are pretty solitary as far as fish go, so he'll probably manage fine. You could give him a mirror, if you really wanted.
