Occupy Santa Rosa
Oct. 16th, 2011 04:08 pmIt went very well! I had no idea of the scale of the entire thing. According to the local newspaper, there were over 2500 protestors ! Very impressive!. We just marched around and chanted. I managed to procure some signs since I didn't really have time to make one.
Doggies are against financial corruption too!

The whole day I had to deal with disparaging comments from my father about how all protestors were jobless bums who had nothing better to do and if they did, they wouldn't be attending the protest. The average protestor was a middle-aged working American... It got really annoying listening to his stupid comments.
I also got some chocolate, an iced latte and visited grandma. I visited grandma today too. Tomorrow I have an interview with netflicks. I did a preliminary interview and they liked it so they want to do a phone interview... I hope I do well. It's business tech support. It's not the best job, but it pays well and I wouldn't mind doing it for a while.

soicjuabba came over last Thursday to San Jose. We played 2 rounds of Catan. Once with her friend, once with mine. I lost horribly both times D:. I don't think I have ever actually won the board game version of catan. Somehow I do well at the online version, though it's the same thing...
