Aug. 30th, 2008 01:40 amI got my computer a couple weeks early and I'm so excited! It's such a better upgrade and it's so fancy :D... yet cheap.
So anyway, library school is so fun so far. I mean, I only finished my intro class, but it was a great experience, and even though my real other two classes are much more work-intensive, the projects seem so fun to me and I can't wait to get going! The only thing I'm worried about is the class with the term paper. God I suck so much at writing term papers ;_;. At least the good part is that it isn't like your whole grade. So I'm going to focus on doing really well in the other things!
So I found this really cool resource that Adrienne and others, who like to read, will like. You add all the books you have(remember) read to your "book shelf" and then you add reviews on them and stuff : D. You can also add friends and read their reviews. I'm in the process of adding all the books I read. I don't remember everything I read. I'm not so much a bibliophile, but I love to read, of course. I just honestly read so many books that I don't remember all of them.
soicjuabba, you should join and add ALL your books too :3. Here is my profile- http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/1470418 .
In other news... I kind of started doing really badly on the diet again because I got too lazy to cook. So I gained 3 kilos : (. I love McDonalds waaay too much. Now, the big mac here is 200 yens, so uh... I have been buying it a lot >_>. 200 yens is less than 2 bucks. *cri*
Tomorrow Dana and I will get massages, then go see the Sex and the City movie! I'm excited. I've been downloading lots of things on my new computer and watching them! Everything is suddenly so fast since I have 3 gigs of rams!
In other news, my kids are cuuuute. I love all my little kids now, ever since that really stupid kid quit. I have this really cute rowdy class of first graders. The boy with the crying problem is really affectionate and likes to climb all over my back and sit on my lap, giving me hugs, massages, etc. He's such a little cutie. Seriously, he has big eyes and when he's having a crying fit, his eyes get twice as big! He's so smart too! He's seriously becoming one of my favorite kids ever. Problem is he's a little violent and likes to hits adults too.
The other kid in that class who is violent, likes to give me kanchos and choke me >___<. I don't like that kid so much, but he really tries to be nice, and anyway, the kids are 6. They're all nice kids! My supervisor came into my class today after I complained to her that the boys weren't nice to the girl. I told her I wanted the girl to join this other class which would be a great fit for her and the other boy, who is taking class without any partners, but I don't think she wants to do that, so instead she told the boys to be nicer to the girl. The boys try, I think, but still she's kind of inconfident and doesn't like to participate.
My other class of 6 year olds are very cute too. They're all really great, smart kids. One of them is a little problematic in that he never really listens to the homework(well, rarely), he has a potty problem where he regularly either really badly misses, or pees all over himself, and he chatters in Japanese too much. But anyway, he's the 2nd smartest in the class, so it's not a big deal. One of the kids isn't really into English and isn't so intelligent, but that class is a lot of fun too! I can control both those classes pretty well and the only class I still can't control are those kids on Thursday(the ones I complain about from time to time). I think the girl will come back soon, and when she does, all hell will break loose. The boy is semi-controllable if on his own.
Anyway, so I guess that's all I have left to report. Oh, I'm kind of worried about my friends(from the last post) cuz I haven't seen them in a couple days. I hope they're not lost or run over. Perhaps they chose another place to hang out instead of around here. In any case, I just hope that they are alive and happy.
