Eep 2 months!
Jul. 30th, 2007 11:09 pmIt's been exactly 2 months now! I really wanted to update earlier. Now I'm updating at the very last minute because well, I leave for Japan... TOMORROW. Yeah, I did find a job, finally. After a bunch of rejections... including Nova :|. And i thought Nova was supposed to accept everyone? Anyway, I'll be working in a Private company that is near Mt Fuji. It's convenient for my parents because they're planning to visit next June and climb Mt Fuji. So everything I've been doing for the last 2 months... yeah.
Uh so 2 months ago I hung out with Jeferry after not seeing him for 2 years. We went to the arcade and it was one of those nights where you can play unlimited games for just 6 dollars. We spent an hour on the Mariokart machine they had there and played all the stages and then an hour on this shooting game called "Time crisis 3". We actually beat that one.
The next thing I remember doing other than going to very boring classes was graduation : ). I actually liked graduation. We marched to the Star Wars theme... nice choice. LOL. Here are some pictures! I printed up these and they will be on my bookshelves in Japan .

So I worked for a little while longer at the library. I'm proud because it's been like the only job I've had where I haven't gotten fired ^_^*. I really loved my bosses and I generally had a good time working there. I got a free tee shirt too : ).
So I went to Florida and all I really did there was get FAT. Justin bought me this whole platter of cheesecakes and I ate pretty much all of them >_>. Him and his brother had 1 piece each :p. He had a new Wii and we played Wii sports a LOT. It was lots and lots of fun. I practiced it while he was at work and then in the end he couldn't beat me at anything at all. HAHAHA.
So we took one trip to Tampa where we went to Bush Gardens : ). It was very fun. They had really neat rollercoasters. Then we went back to Orlando where we went to SeaWorld AGAIN. He actually thought I was joking when I told him I wanted to go back there. We also went to Ft Myers where we hung around at the beach for a while. It was very fun swimming. I had to drive the whole way up because he didn't get any sleep the night before and would keep trying to fall asleep at the wheel. At one point he kept veering off into the right shoulder and I would say "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!" Then he'd deny he was veering. We also wanted to go to the Keys but then I didn't want to >_>. I still really want to go there : (. It looks fun. They have coral reefs there and I want to go snorkeling : ). Here's a pic of us-

So I came home a couple weeks ago and have been very busy hanging out with my friends. My grandma has also been here. I took 2 trips up to santa cruz to pick up some important stuff :|. I had to return the second time because the office where I picked up my paycheck was closed!! It closes at 1 during the summer. That annoyed me a lot. So a couple days ago my friends and i went to the beach where it was SUPER WINDY. There were some seals there too. I think the seals are permanently camped out at the Russian River delta. I also hung out with Alexis several times. One time we went to Matt's birthday party. I got him a really dumb present- dish soap because he was complaining he was out of it, but he seemed to really like it anyway. lol. Yesterday Jen and I met up in Emeryville(1 hr away for me and 2 for her) to watch the Hairspray remake. It was really fun : ). She wanted to see my one last time before I left but didn't want to go all the way to santa rosa.
So I guess I'll talk about Japan a little more. I'm replacing this teacher who has worked at the business for 4 years. She's actually moving to Osaka, not back home. She's been nice and helped answer all my questions through e-mail : ).I'll have 2 days of training and I kind of worry it's not going to be enough. Apparently foreigners aren't allowed to do pretty much anything until they get their foreigner card so I won't be able to have internet or a cell phone or anything... Hopefully I can use neighbor's wireless >_>. We'll see I guess :|. So wish me luck!
