Feb. 18th, 2004 01:12 pmI didn't get *any* sleep last night, but am suprisingly in a good enough mood. The no-sleep thing usually kicks in sometime late in the day. It prbably had to do with me being so hot the entire night... that's never happened before, I brought a *third* comforter just to stay warm, but last night I had to be switching from one to two of them... And then my knees really hurt. damn rain. I swear I'm an old lady, knees ache when it rains... So that kept me up the entire night. It was not pleasant.
I have a damn calc quiz today too -_-. I did so well in the last one... I GUESS I'M FAILING EVERY OTHER ONE. I really have no idea what's going on now in calc... Some crap about multi-step derivatives. I figured out that failing a class here is the same as in High school, a "D" is the cut-off point. That means I shouldn't fail. I've gotten a C once before in my life, that was last year. But no Ds . *le sad*. I think I'm gunna get another one of those unpleasant marks, let's hope it will be the higher of the two.
TG sent me a valentines day card! Let's thank him publically : ). THANK YOU TEEGEE! So I sent him a thank you card in return XD.Titus wanted to send me something too... I don't send anyone anything unless it's their birthday ^_^*. Well, holidays-wise... I've been kown to send LOTS of postcards, I like sending those the most... I don't celebreate anything! Maybe I should, ehehe... I also don't like it when people give me holiday-related presents/cards, because I won't feel right unless I send them something in return. I guess I make up for it because no one sends me anything on my birthday! Well, except for Koop. He sent me such waii koala stuff on my bithday *hugs him*. I always send birthday cards ^_^. Just sent Jeferry one... I sent Amadar one on his birthday too a little while ago. I should send Amadar more stuff just because he gets so excited when I send him stuff. It makes me very happy ^_^. That should be it for me :p. Poor Titus has been the only one who didn't get one on his birthday, but that was because his birthday was the day of graduation and I was bizzy ;_;. So I made him a really dorky webpage that was basically "OMG TITUS YOU RULE, YOU ARE SO COOL!!" And it had marquee ... lots of marquee ^_^**. QUITE EMBARRASSING, but he seemed to like it none the less . I'm so glad X-mus is so far away. Blah, that's my least favorite holiday. The only decent part of it is the songs ^_^. Haha, I remember what a scandal that caused in my LJ a few months ago during Christmas time *g*.
And... Today was Asako's last japanese class ;_;. She was our class TA... She helped out a lot by talking about modern Japanese culture. She used a lot of words that our sensei doesn't because she's older and more old fashioned :p. She taught us cool stuff like "Shakapan!" those are tracksuit bottoms! Because they make a "shaka shaka" sound XD. Haha! You know, I never knew what those things were called until Windie told me XD. She went and found pictures off the internet to show me! I wonder how many of YOU know what tracksuit bottoms are ^_-. Or maybe I was just so dense all along I never knew, heh.
Later I have to give Tuffie her cookie because she made the highest score on "TEH ARKY QUIZ"! Adrienne does not count because she CHEATED. RARG. yay Tuffie! I'll celebrate more later : )
