I got a new little friend ^_^ (and The Room Discussion Post)
Check him out !

Innit he sooo cute? I don't know what to call him. I picked my fish out by personality lol... When I first looked at all the bettas in the pet store, I thought "oh he's kind of cute, but I was set on a purple one..." But he stood out because he fluttered in his little cup at me and looked at me. He's such a friendly fish. When I come up to his tank, he swims up to me and says hi. He's cream colored(with a little black face) so I wanted to name him something after the band Cream...
But their band members are named Ginger, Jack and Eric Clapton of course. So maybe "Ginger" since he's kinda ginger colored but I dunno, not sure if I like that name.
This is my third betta. First one died from some illness or something, second one died because I think I poisoned him from introducing a plant into his tank. So no real plants for this one. He likes his fake plant a lot. He likes to bury into it. He's quite active and looks pretty happy. My parents are mean and say I'm gunna kill him off. Well I may not have the best record with the bettas, but they usually last around a year XD;.
Anyway
kehlen_crow and I are reading "The Room" by Emma Donahue. Feel free to join us in our discussion... you only really have to read about a hundred pages by next week lol.
It's interesting how people like to write books about families being stuck in little rooms for years. I guess in that way it reminds me of "Flowers in the Attic". Except you don't have sibling incest... ok maybe it's not really like that book. I like how it's written. From the point of view of a five year old so the thought process is just very simple and the narrator is interested in things that interest 5 year old such as... body parts :p. I'm also kind of reminded of the horrible news stories where girls are abducted and live in small room their entire lives. They're raped by their captor and have kids and live there for years until they manage to escape. I forgot the name of the one girl Jaycee something, right? Yeah, it's just really spooky and creepy. I can imagine how it must feel for their neighbors. All along having no idea something like that was going on in the house next door...

Yes, let's start the new book in October. I am struggling with the last chapter of the Room, still have 20 pages left, but I will finish it by then.
