Dad has just never liked cats, so that painted his impression :3. Kotik has also never seemed to like cameras much, and that was one of the few times I was able to get him out from under the bed. He must have been impatient to get back to his hidey space! It was kind of funny because while Kotik was always terrified of anyone who wasn't Mom, including Dad, Ashes didn't like Mom much and seemed to have some kind of weird affinity for Dad when I wasn't home. Dad would complain to me how Ashed bothered him while he was trying to read in bed by hopping up on his chest. He said he'd try to put Ashes back on the ground but then he'd hop right back up again... hah! He was always kind of an asshole : ).
