Yeah Yugos were infamous for stalling all the time, always in the middle of traffic.
I've done some research into that and it looks like Yugo continually makes the top 10 worst cars ever list at the top. It was number one on the cartalk list- http://www.cartalk.com/content/features/Worst-Cars/results1.html . The Gremlin is the usual AMC car to make the list but on this countdown, it was number 1- http://www.worldinterestingfacts.com/car/top-10-worst-cars-of-all-time.html. I actually think Gremlins look really cool XD;, too bad they suck. Because pintos had a tendency to explode, I'd think they'd be number 1, but it was mostly a saftey problem, not an all around horrible car problem. And these are just cars released in the US. In order for a car to be sold in the US, they have to pass a number of inspections. There are worse cars out there. Russian car companies for example have some of the worst cars in the world.
