Yay Fridaaayy
Jul. 6th, 2012 12:46 pmI'm glad it's the weekend. I'm always happy to have a couple days off work. It just gets so dull, I'd rather be home, even if I'm doing nothing other than watching shows/movies and playing on my wii.
I friended about 5 people from another frenzy, so hello newbs! You can check out my intro I wrote recently if you are curious about me : ) http://majesticarky.livejournal.com/286855.html
Heh I've started watching reality shows at work because one of the things I'm doing is so brainless that it actually makes me more productive when some show is going on in the background. I was getting caught up with Teen Mom, now I've moved on to the latest season of Hell's Kitchen.
Justin and I haven't been up to much. He's leaving Sunday which is sadness for me. I may not get to see him until December, but he claims he may have enough vacation for another trip before then. I really hope so because 6 months without him really sucks. He's been cooking up stuff for me and we've been just shopping and hanging around the house. On the 4th, we went to DC and saw the fireworks display. It was pretty fun. Not the best pic, but it's kinda neat to see fireworks in the background of the Washington Monument.
( fireworks under cut )
We're supposed to see Brave tonight, which I'm very excited about. The general consensus is that it isn't Pixar's finest, but I'm still excited to see it.
We've been playing King of Fighters 13 and I've been playing a bunch of Xenoblade Chronicles. It's a very nicely-made rpg. There aren't a whole lot of decent rpgs this generation and I've actually never played a Xeno-saga game before. Mostly because they've primarily been on the PSX and PS2 and I've never owned either of those.
I have no idea what we will do this weekend. It's supposed to be 105 tomorrow and I honestly do not want to even leave the house... I guess we'll find something to do, though I doubt he wants to wander outside somewhere either.
